Esperanto Word Machine

Esperanto is a language designed to unite people across linguistic and cultural boundaries. Created in the late 19th century by the pacifist L. L. Zamenhof, it was envisioned as a neutral and easy-to-learn second language for everyone, promoting global communication, mutual understanding, and peace. Its unique grammar and vocabulary are built on simplicity and consistency, making it accessible to learners of all backgrounds.

One of Esperanto's most remarkable features is how effortlessly words and concepts can be created, modified, and understood. Thanks to its straightforward and extremely regular grammatical structure, anyone can combine prefixes, roots, suffixes, and endings to express even complex ideas with clarity and precision.

We've provided three tables below that introduce (some of the) the prefixes, roots, suffixes, and grammatical endings necessary to build words in the language. Keep in mind that creating "words" carelessly rapidly leads to gibberish!
